Our Call to Action

 

All persons who are proud members of the Warrior Research Foundation’s "Set Condition Red" (SCR) share the genuine concern for the health and well-being of their peers.

Our purpose is to re-forge the bond of brother and sisterhood that many veterans feel they have lost while providing a safe place to share experiences and reduce feelings of isolation.

  

The Mission of SCR

 

Veterans experience crisis in different ways, which can affect the individual and the people around them. As a result, we have created a medium for veterans and their family members to share experiences that encourages hope, fosters strong peer relations, and creates camaraderie amongst the group participants.

 

Adhering to our mission, it is our goal to provide mechanisms to support quality educational and clinical research with the goal of improving overall health of the military service member and their family. We are excited to continue to develop relationships with folks in the non-profit, government, and for-profit sectors to share knowledge to enhance research and development focused on the needs of the active and retired military member, and to create programs that are sustainable and easily accessible.
